Ingredients

  • 1 large banana
  • 1 large flour tortilla
  • 2 tablespoons creamy peanut butter
  • 2 tablespoons chocolate chips finely chopped
  • 2 tablespoons peanuts finely chopped

Method

  1. Lay the flour tortilla flat on a clean surface and spread the peanut butter evenly across it.
  2. Sprinkle the chopped chocolate chips and peanuts over the peanut butter.
  3. Peel the banana and place it near one edge of the tortilla.
  4. Roll the tortilla tightly around the banana, keeping the filling secure.
  5. Using a sharp knife, slice the roll into ¾–1-inch sushi-style pieces.
  6. Arrange on a plate and serve immediately. Enjoy!

Notes

- Use a ripe but firm banana for easier slicing.
- Warm the tortilla for 5–10 seconds if needed to make rolling easier.
- Substitute sunflower seed butter and omit peanuts for a nut-free version.
- Best served fresh, but the unsliced roll can be refrigerated in an airtight container for up to 24 hours.
- For young children, omit chopped peanuts and adapt the texture and size of the pieces to reduce choking risks
