Campfire Croissant S’mores

Course: Dessert, Snack
Cuisine: American

Ingredients

  • 4 croissants
  • 1 Hu Chocolate bar broken into pieces
  • 4 large marshmallows

Method

  1. Slice each croissant in half, but do not cut all the way through if you want it to hold like a sandwich.
  2. Lightly toast the croissants over the fire for 1–2 minutes, just until warm and slightly crispy.
  3. Roast the marshmallows over the fire until golden brown and gooey. I like to use 2 at a time.
  4. Place pieces of Hu Chocolate inside each warm croissant.
  5. Add the roasted marshmallow on top of the chocolate.
  6. Close the croissant and gently press together so the warm marshmallow helps melt the chocolate.
  7. Let sit for 30 seconds, then enjoy warm.

Notes

Toasting the croissant first makes it crispy and helps it hold up better.
Use mini croissants for smaller kid-friendly portions.
You can also make these in the oven or air fryer if you do not have a fire.
