Frozen Chocolate Banana Sticks

Frozen banana sticks coated in dark chocolate and finished with flaky salt for an easy healthier dessert or snack. Perfect for summer, quick sweet cravings, or kid-friendly treats.

Ingredients
  

  • 3 bananas
  • 1 cup dark chocolate melted
  • Flaky salt optional
  • Nut butter for dipping (optional)

  • Microwave-safe bowl or double boiler

  • Baking tray or plate

Method
 

Prep the bananas
  1. Peel bananas and cut them into thick stick-shaped pieces, about 2–3 inches long.
Melt the chocolate
  1. Melt dark chocolate in the microwave in 20-second intervals or using a double boiler until smooth.
Coat the bananas
  1. Dip each banana stick into the melted chocolate until fully coated.
Add toppings
  1. Place coated banana sticks onto a parchment-lined tray or plate. Sprinkle with flaky salt if desired.
Freeze
  1. Freeze for 5–10 minutes or until the chocolate is firm and the bananas are cold and slightly frozen.
Serve
  1. Serve immediately with nut butter for dipping if desired.

Notes

Use extra dark chocolate for a richer flavor.
Peanut butter, almond butter, or hazelnut spread all work great for dipping.
Freeze longer for a firmer ice cream-like texture.
Add crushed nuts or shredded coconut for extra texture.
