Ingredients
Method
- Cook the maple bacon in a large skillet until crispy. Transfer to a paper towel-lined plate.
- In the same skillet, cook the breakfast sausage patties until fully cooked. Remove from the pan.
- Scramble the eggs until just set. Allow the bacon, sausage, and eggs to cool slightly.
- Place the cooked eggs, sausage, maple bacon, cheddar cheese, and cream cheese on a large cutting board. Finely chop everything together until well combined.
- Season with salt and black pepper. Drizzle the maple syrup over the mixture and continue chopping and mixing until evenly combined.
- Slice the Bagels in half and toast until golden brown.
- Divide the breakfast mixture evenly between the toasted bagel bottoms.
- Place the top halves on the bagels and serve immediately.
Notes
Cook the bacon until extra crispy for the best texture.
Pepper jack or smoked cheddar can be substituted for cheddar cheese.
Add a little extra maple syrup if you prefer a sweeter breakfast sandwich.
The filling can be made up to 2 days ahead and reheated before serving.
