Sushi Boats

Hands down the quickest and most delicious Sushi Boats. Perfect for when you are craving sushi without all the prep 🍣

Ingredients
  

  • ½ tsp sesame oil
  • 1 ½ tablespoon teriyaki sauce
  • 1 fl oz soy sauce
  • ½ cup cooked sushi rice
  • 1 green onion
  • 1 cucumber
  • 1 teaspoon sesame seeds
  • 8 oz smoked salmon

Method
 

  1. 1. Prep the cucumber: Slice the cucumber in half lengthwise. Scoop out the seeds with a spoon to create shallow boats, then pat dry.
    2. Fill with rice: Spoon sushi rice into each cucumber half, pressing gently to form an even base.
    3. Add salmon: Layer smoked salmon evenly over the rice.
    4. Drizzle & garnish: Top with teriyaki sauce, sesame oil (if using), sesame seeds, and green onions.
    5. Serve: Slice into bite-sized pieces or enjoy whole as sushi boats. Serve with soy sauce or spicy mayo on the side.
