Why You'll Love These Frozen Yogurt Bars
If you love chocolate-covered frozen yogurt, you have to try these! Each bar has a crunchy Hu dark chocolate shell filled with creamy whole-milk yogurt.
They're easy to customize, require just a few ingredients, and you can make several different flavors at once. They're perfect for an easy summer dessert, after-school snack, or freezer treat for the kids.
Can I Make These Ahead?
Yes! You can prepare the bars a few hours before you plan to serve them and keep them in the freezer until firm.
For the best creamy frozen-yogurt texture, I prefer eating them after 2–4 hours of freezing rather than leaving them in the freezer overnight, which can make the yogurt much harder.
What Kind of Yogurt Works Best?
Whole-milk yogurt works best because the additional fat creates a creamier frozen texture. You can use vanilla, strawberry, or another flavor you love.
Can I Use Different Fruit?
Absolutely. Strawberries, blueberries, raspberries and finely chopped peaches are all great options. Just make sure larger fruit is chopped into small pieces so it's easy to pipe into the bags.

Hu Chocolate Frozen Yogurt Ice Bars
Ingredients
Method
- Melt the chocolate: Melt the Hu dark chocolate until smooth and let it cool slightly.
- Coat the bags: Pour about ½ bar of melted chocolate into each popsicle bag. Gently massage the bag to spread the chocolate around the inside.
- Don't freeze the chocolate yet: Add the filling while the chocolate is still melted.
- Make the fillings: Mix together your choice of vanilla yogurt + chopped Hu chocolate, strawberry yogurt + chopped fruit, or vanilla yogurt + fresh berries.
- Fill: Transfer the yogurt mixture to a piping bag and pipe directly into the chocolate-coated bags.
- Freeze: Seal the bags, leaving a little room at the top. Lay flat and freeze for 2–4 hours, or until firm.
- Serve: Let sit for 1–2 minutes, crack the chocolate shell and enjoy!
